ST. PAUL, Minnesota. Feb. 23, 2026 — Minnesota school districts and educators returned to federal court Monday seeking an emergency order to stop immigration enforcement activity at and around public schools, warning that federal agents’ presence near classrooms and school bus stops is devastating attendance, draining school resources and traumatizing children. The filing comes as the nation honors Public Schools Week, an annual week-long celebration dedicated to honoring the educators and staff making a difference in America’s public schools and the communities they serve.
